Overcoming the Perfect Storm
I wrote this book because my heart breaks when I hear about disposable marriages, broken souls, and broken hearts. The Lord restored my husband and I as a couple with the extraordinary purpose of helping others who are in similar situations.
This book does not seek to judge, or educate, or establish any system or doctrine, it is one full of love, of experiences and spiritual dimensions. It is not a psychology book either, or a soap opera to entertain anyone with what we lived. It is a book that talks about the storms of a fractured couple and how God restored each of those pieces to bring us into a marriage within the Kingdom of God, filled with His Light and His Life.
So, whether you are at the beginning, in the middle of, or through the storm, whether you have decided to stay together or not, these pages are full of restoration for you as a person and as a couple, to become ONE again, as you were in the beginning.
The Gospel of Thomas (Interpretation)
Apocryphal with Coptic Interlinear
Prophetic Interpretation and Commentaries by: Ana Méndez Ferrell, Simón Aquino, Ana Louceiro Plattner & Lorenza Méndez
We want to share this precious pearl to expose its spiritual riches. We do not want to compare its authority with that of the Bible, which is our torch. God is bringing to light writings that were mightily used by early Christianity and were hidden or lost in history. Some of these are the so-called Apocrypha, and they can be true jewels that do not oppose the Bible but give us light to understand difficult passages that have been misinterpreted. The Gospel of Thomas was one of the most extraordinary discoveries of the twentieth century and was lost to history until 1945.
The document consists of 114 sayings that Jesus expressed to Thomas. Two-thirds are analogous to the synoptic gospels. It is the book of Jesus’ proverbs. According to exegetes, it is the oldest gospel that has been found, dated approximately 60 AD. It is mentioned by several of the Fathers of the Church, as Clement of Alexandria, and is part of the Canon of the Coptic Christian Church. It is essential to understand that the Church of the first century did not have an immutable theological treatise to which all churches were subject but that Christianity spread in various forms until the fourth century when the Catholic Canon was consolidated. Not all apostolic writings reached Rome.
